Training & Research


The Academic Health Sciences Centre (GPST) comprising Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Imperial College London runs the Imperial GP Specialty Training Scheme. The training scheme offers a three year programme, whereby 18 months are spent undertaking hospital posts, and 18 months working in the community and general practice. Parkview Practice is delighted to be one of the practices that is participating in the scheme. 


NIHR Clinical Research Network. provides the infrastructure that allows high-quality clinical research to take place in the NHS, so that patients can benefit from new and better treatments. It help researchers to set up clinical studies quickly and effectively; support the life-sciences industry to deliver their research programmes; provide health professionals with research training; and work with patients to ensure their needs are at the very centre of all research activity. Parkview Practice is proud to be a practice working in collaboration with NIHR Clinical Research Network in delivering its goals.
